WEEWAAWOOWEE, nothing is straightforward

Over the last month we've welcomed WEEWAAWOOWEE (Lauryn Lamb) on residency in our project space at OUTPOST studios, Gildengate House. Lauryn is a recent graduate and works with moving image.
"I've been exploring how we exist within environments and how this constructs our world view. My animation installation allows the viewer to activate the narrative as they move around the space. Transforming the viewer into an animatic machine, they control the speed at which the small world changes & how the story progresses whilst experiencing the studio space in a curated and contemplative way. The space has allowed me to develop my ideas free from the confines of my bedroom and laptop and branch out into more interactive and experiential work."
